ABOUT THE CAR

How much of it is original

By the owner's own accounting, roughly 85% of the car is either original Ford steel or fabricated from scratch in the shop. The remaining 10–15% is made up of bought-in mechanical parts — the transmission, the front and rear wheels and tires, modified hairpins, the quick change, and ordinary nuts and bolts.

SHOP PHOTOS

Where the build stands

A note on sourcing: every spec on this page is transcribed directly from the owner's own project write-up sheet — nothing here has been independently verified beyond that document. The name "Copper Coupe" comes from the pinstriped nameplate visible in the shop photos below, not from the write-up itself. The photos show the car in bare metal and gray primer, mid-build.
